Shared Call Appearance (SCA)

Setup on PBX side:

1. Create a PBX user for each SCA phone's primary line.
2. Create a ring group PBX user
   
3. At this ring group user > [Forwarding destinations*] field, set PBX user numbers created in step 1, which have Shared Line feature
   
4. Create an ARS rule for SCA users and check [LineKey] at ARS rule,
   create Pattern-IN to direct incoming call to the ring group extension created in step 2.
   create pattern-OUT to send outbound call to destination IP
   For how to create ARS rule, please check sample setup for ITSP
5. In order to make an outgoing call with shared line key on the phone,
   At each SCA PBX user created in step 1 user edit page > [Resource map], set line/1=[Route Name]/1
   If you phone can set more than one line keys for the shared line, then set as
   line/1=Route1/1
   line/2=Route1/2
   line/3=Route2/1
   line/4=Route2/2
   Here, Route1 or Route2 is the ARS rule name shown in [ARS]>[Running Status], which is created in step 4
   How many lines set in [Resource map] depends on the number of shared line keys set at phone side.
   Set different ARS rule name in [Resource map] field to monitor different ARS rules from phone shared line key  and choose different ARS rules to make outgoing calls. Above [Resource map] setting is set to monitor two ARS rules named Route1 and Route2
   

Settings on the phone side:

• Setup for SCA:
  Panasonic KX-TGP550 configuration
  

• Prerequisite: None
• Setup for SCA:
  
  1. create a pbx extension as "6500" from Brekeke PBX admintool>[Users]
     
  2. Register another line as "line-6500" to the same server, and set "Type" as "Shared"
  3. Set one or more [Num Line Keys]
  4. Save the settings and reboot the phone

• Prerequisite: Firmware version 7 and up
  
• Setup for SCA:
  
  1. create a pbx extension as "360" from Brekeke PBX admintool>[Users]
     
  2. Register another Identity as "line-360" to the same server as shared line,
     check [Identity]>[SIP]>[Shared Line] ON
     select [Identity]>[SIP]>[Server Type Support] Broadsoft
  3. Go to "Function Keys", set any key from P1 to P12 as
     "line-360@PBX_IP " "Shared Line" "<sip:line-360@PBX_IP;user=phone> "
  4. Reboot the phone.

• Prerequisite: None
• Setup for SCA:
  
  1. create a pbx extension as "201" from Brekeke PBX>[Users]
     
  2. Register another extension as shared line,
     such as, at phone tab [Ext1], set User ID as "line-201" and select "shared" at "Share Line Appearance / Share Ext:"
  3. At the [Phone] tab, set any Line Key from 1 to 6 as
     Extension: shared extension number in step 2, here is 1
     Short Name: any name for the Line Key label
     Share Call Appearance: shared
  4. Reboot the phone
• Note:
  The following dial plan is needed, when using linksys SPA9xx linekey to pick up shared call, which is put on hold by other phones
