Set up Brekeke PBX Auto Sync

  1. Set up on Primary Server
    At primary PBX, [PBX admintool]>[Options]>[Auto Sync]>[Primary Server Settings], set

    Remote IP Address Filter: Secondary IP patterns regular expression,
    ---------------------------------------------------------

    e.g. ^192\.168.*$ to allow the connection from IPs begin with 192.168
    Save the settings

  2. Set up on Secondary Server

    At secondary PBX, [PBX admintool]>[Options]>[Auto Sync]>[Secondary Server Settings], set
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    URL of Primary Server: http://PRIMARY_IP_ADDRESS:port/pbx
    ----------------------------------------------------------

    on Window, default port: 28080, e.g. http://192.168.200.10:28080/pbx
    on Linux, default port: 8080, e.g. http://192.168.200.10:8080/pbx

    Save the settings
    Restart PC of secondary PBX

  3. Test Brekeke PBX Auto Sync
    Changes at the primary Brekeke PBX will be updated on the secondary Brekeke PBX automatically.

    The PBX settings, which can be synchronized through Auto Sync, are the following:
    • Tenant settings
    • User Settings (voicemail, prompts)
    • System Prompts, Tenant System Prompts
    • Notes (System/Tenants)
    • ARS rules

  4. Note: The ARS rule setting changes on primary server will be updated on secondary server. However the enabled ARS rules will not run on secondary server untill failover happens. When failover happens, the enabled ARS rules will run automatically on secondary server, and show running under secondary Brekeke PBX > [ARS] > [Running Status].
